He is a founding member and former president of the Beijing Xing Yi Quan Research Association, the leading organization for the research and promotion of Xing Yi. His books and DVDs are on the cutting edge in presenting the essence of the art. We are once again hosting Master Di for two weeks of intensive training and workshops. Don't miss this opportunity to learn Xing Yi fundamentals, principles, and applications from this leading master.
Seminars will take place from November 15th to November 23rd. Master Di has already obtained his visa for travel to the United States.
Weekend One: To develop skill in Xing Yi Quan you must have a sound San Ti (Trinity Posture) and a good understanding of Wu Xing Quan (the five basic fists). The curriculum for this weekend also includes various post standing methods (Qi Gong), Wu Xing Lien Huan Quan (the linking fist form), Wu Xing Pao (the linking fist partner form), and combat applications.
Weekend Two: Master Di will teach and explain the finer points of the 12 animal forms. These are necessary to expand your Xing Yi fighting repertoire and to learn strategy and techniques. Each form contains unique characteristics, essences, and applications that are sure to broaden your horizons in Xing Yi Quan. Master Di will also emphasize the post standing skills and body work required by this internal art. Weekend One is a prerequisite for beginning students who wish to attend Weekend Two.
In the interim week, Monday through Thursday, November 17th-20th, 7:00-9:00 pm, Di Guoyong will be offering 2-hour seminars on Xing Yi staff and saber.
Fees: One weekend $250; both weekends $450. A 50% deposit received by October 15 will reserve your space. Balance due must be paid in CASH at the door.
